Do I need this if my WMS already does billing?
Most 3PLs end up running both, because they automate different things. A WMS billing module meters warehouse activity — receiving, storage, pick and pack, value-added services — and invoices for that work. It does not see carrier cost at label generation, it does not re-run your markup when an adjustment lands weeks later, and it does not collect before the shipment moves. If your billing pain is warehouse activity, the WMS module is the right tool. If it is parcel spend, carrier adjustments, and getting paid, it is not.
How do you automate 3PL billing?
